Brazilian Voices joins forces with Fushu Daiko for Taiko & Batucada, an electrifying collaboration between two dynamic cultural ensembles. This powerful sensory experience blends the commanding energy of Taiko drumming with the rich harmonies of Bossa Nova and Samba, exploring deep connections between rhythm, culture, and nature. The result is an inspiring performance that engages the senses, celebrates cross-cultural dialogue, and invites audiences to experience unity through sound, movement, and shared artistic expression.

It is with a mix of profound gratitude and bittersweet sentiment that we announce His Excellency, André Odenbreit Carvalho, Consul General of Brazil in Miami, will be departing his post to assume a prestigious new role as the Brazilian Ambassador to Thailand and Laos.

Throughout his tenure in Miami, Ambassador Odenbreit has been an invaluable partner and a steadfast supporter of our organization and its mission. He consistently graced our events—from business meetings to luncheons and dinners—always arriving with prepared, insightful, and meaningful remarks that elevated every discussion. His unwavering commitment to strengthening the bonds between Brazil and Florida has left an indelible mark on our community.

We will greatly miss his leadership, wisdom, and kindness, and we extend our warmest wishes to him and his wife, Gilda, for a safe journey and tremendous success in this exciting new chapter.

To properly express our gratitude and wish them well, the Brazil-Florida Business Council will host an exclusive farewell luncheon in their honor.
