With the increased innovation, financial technology companies have sprouted in Brazil to provide cheaper loans and more accessible services. Brazil's Central Bank is looking to implement regulations this year to oversee these fintech start-ups. These regulations will pave the way for the  sector development within a secure judicial framework.

Bruno Balduccini, Partner, Pinheiro Neto Advogados

Arthur Malabarba, CTO, BIVA

Bruno Balduccini stands out for his leading practice in banking regulatory matters. His practice also includes corporate finance, joint ventures, electronic means of payment, crypto currencies and fintech companies. Balduccini earned his LL.B. at Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo  in 1992 and a Master's Degree (LL.M.) in International Banking Law at Boston University in 1998. From 1998 to 1999, he was a foreign associate with Sullivan & Cromwell, New York. 

Artur Malabarba is the chief technology and data science officer of BIVA. He holds a BA and Master's degree in physics from the University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Ph.D in physics from Bristol University. Arthur is the main responsible for the architecture data modeling and backend engineering of the first Brazilian P2P lending platform.
