Testimonials

"I want to thank the Brazil-Florida Business Council and Founding Presidente Sueli Bonaparte for all you are doing strengthen relationships between Florida and Brazil and create more opportunities for business and Florida families. Brazil continues to be Florida's number one international trade partner, and we want to make Florida first for job creation so families have more opportunities to live their dreams."

Rick Scott, The Honorable Senator of Florida

"Sueli, the amazing energy that you bring to this cause is astounding. I envision this organization and the relationship to go long beyond certainly my tenure as a mayor, and I think building a bond between Brazil and Florida, particularly between Brazil and Tampa, is going to be important. The Brazil-Florida Business Council can play a vital role to the economic growth of the city. If we are going to be the city we want to be, we will have to expand our horizons and be global in our perspective and global in our actions."

Bob Buckhorn, Former Tampa Mayor

"I am continually impressed and amazed at Sueli Bonaparte's sphere of influence and her ability to attract top level multinational corporate executives and high level government officials to world class events and forums hosted by the BFBC to facilitate and foster growth between the U.S. and Brazil.  I know of no other organization or association that is connecting people of this caliber and having the potential to make as great an economic impact for these countries."

John C. Laurie, USI Insurance Services

"Brazil-Florida Business Awards Luncheon was one of Tampa's best. You were able to gather the top businesses and business leaders throughout our region. I haven't seen this done before. I was so honored and proud of the seamless work you and your staff did to pull this off."

While USF's academic and research work in Brazil is somewhat distinctive from most of the business community there is a real sense that the overarching goals of extending the reach of Brazil into Florida (Tampa Bay) and vice versa is building momentum and moving forward. Congratulations to everyone involved in this effort and to Sueli's vision and energy."

Roger Brindley, University of South Florida

"A Sueli é uma locomotiva para o desenvolvimento de negócios, ela não se cansa de procurar meios para auxiliar o crescimento de todos, prova disso é a Brazil Florida Business Council que em tão pouco tempo já alcançou tamanha expressão e mostra o tempo todo ao que veio, aglutinando mais interesse no Brasil e esse tipo de iniciativa faltava na Florida. Ela é capaz de fazer crescer, é assertiva e suas ações a frente da BFBC ajudam o Brasil e a Florida a crescerem”
